FIRST HAPPY MOMENTS

🌱 “Happy First Times” is a new 4-book series by Lionbooks, telling stories about the familiar “first times” every child experiences: the first time performing on stage, the first time changing schools, the first camping trip, or the first time making friends.

The series is filled with humor and little moments that make readers smile. But when we slow down and read more carefully, we can also see the emotional layers within each story — moments of worry, confusion, and the quiet ways children learn to overcome them.

These books do not center around adults, there is no single “main character,” and there are no forced moral lessons:

⇒ One child plays a “tree” on stage for the first time — a role that seems simple, yet turns out to be surprisingly challenging.

⇒ One child enters a new environment and is welcomed with warmth and kindness, helping them feel safe and confident enough to fit in.
